Los dos artistas

En nuestra estancia en Rosario hemos tenido la oportunidad de conocer de primera mano cómo es el trabajo de Carlos y Elio, unos auténticos maestros, cada uno en su área. Hace poco tiempo que restauraron el altillo de su casa y lo acondicionaron para convertirlo en un estudio acorde a sus necesidades. Allí trabajan conjuntamente en el libro sobre modelado de azúcar que Carlos publicará el próximo año. Es un trabajo costoso que implica mucha dedicación. Por ello, Elio ha aparcado momentáneamente parte de sus labores como dibujante para ayudar a su hermano en el diseño de los proyectos, así como todo el apartado fotográfico. Durante toda esta semana Ana y yo hemos subido a observar cómo trabajan estos dos artistas. Nos hemos podido colar entre sus bocetos, sesiones fotográficas e incluso ver algunos de estos proyectos ya terminados. Y como colofón, horas antes de partir rumbo al norte del país, disfrutamos con su madre y abuela de la tradición del mate. ¡Gracias por todo familia Lischetti!

During our stay in Rosario we had the opportunity to know how the work of Elio and Carlos is, from first hand. Not long ago, they rebuilt a small penthouse to create their studio, a place where they can work, according to their needs. Up there, they work together in Carlos´ book about modelling in sugar, that it will be published next year. It is a hard work that implies lot of time and dedication. In fact, Elio has temporally stopped his duties as animator to help his brother in the design of his projects and with all related to the photographs. In all this week, Ana and I have gone upstairs to observe how these two artists work. We have got lost among the sketches, photos and even some finished projects. And, hours before our departing to the North of the country, we could enjoy with their mother and granny of the mate tradition. Thanks for everything Lischetti Family!
